We lost young Don, just 22, in 2009.  
But, Don set a GREAT example for us all....to Help Others in Need.  
Don's Foundation is dedicated to encouraging College Students to choose the Alternative Break,
where Students choose to travel on their Vacations breaks and Help others less fortunate.  
We're so proud of the Great Example that Don has set for young Students.

helping some needy Children in a Youth Home.
Funds from Don's Foundation, raised at this Event help to fund
and promotenice trips like this.

Ran a simultaneous Don’s Friends 5K at Camp Marmal, Afghanistan on April 13th, 2013
Camp Marmal is a NATO camp, and the run attracted over 100 runners
from 10 different countries. Bruce Myhre of St. Augustine, who is deployed with the 542d,
was motivated to organize a Don’s Friends run in Afghanistan to spread the word
on Don’s Friends after running in the race the last two years.
Some of America’s (and the World’s) Finest ran this race in support of a great cause.”
